Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is a video game for the Game Boy Advance. It is the second game in the Kingdom Hearts series, and the first on a handheld console. The game takes place right after the events of Kingdom Hearts at the mysterious Castle Oblivion where Sora and his friends must lose their memories to gain something important. It features a unique gameplay in which, instead of normal attacks, the player must use cards with offensive, healing, and support powers, all in real time.
As he travels through Castle Oblivion, he meets his memories, also in the form of cards. These are created by the mysterious orginization that runs the castle. He meets many of the orginization members, and as he continues he forgets his memories, but starts to remember a girl from his hometown that simply vanished when he was young.
Plot[]
Sora and his friends Donald Duck, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket are walking along a winding path by continuing to chase Pluto. After nightfall, appears a mysterious man dressed in a black coat and his face concealed that directs Sora towards a massive fortress called Castle Oblivion. Once inside, the three meet again the mysterious figure, which explains why they have forgotten all their skills entering the Castle. He then proceeded to create a deck of cards based on the memories of Sora and his friends telling them that anything they find in the building will be based on their memories. More things will find advancing, more memories will lose but more loose, more gather things.
Gameplay[]
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is a combination between a role-playing game and a collectible card game. The main aspect of role playing is an experience point system that is used to increase PV (points) or PC (paper points maximum) character, or to learn a new skill.
