Gamer is a game mode in Game & Wario, hosted by 9-Volt & 18-Volt. This game mode is similar to traditional WarioWare games in that the player completes microgames. The twist is that your TV screen displays 9-Volt's bedroom and he must avoid getting caught by his mother, 5-Volt. In WarioWare Gold, the mode returned as Sneaky Gamer.
Premise[]
9-Volt and 18-Volt are taking turns playing the Balloon Fighter game, beating each other's highscore when 5-Volt comes in and tells them to stop and do their homework. After finishing their homework, they go to get the device back, only to discover 5-Volt has more than doubled their score at an insurmountable 100.
Gameplay[]
The Wii U GamePad is structured like a typical WarioWare game using the D-pad and the A button to control the microgames. The player has 4 lives and can regain one each time the player beats the boss stage. Losing all 4 balloons will result in a game over.
As the player is playing on the gamepad, they must look up at the TV to see if 5-Volt is around. If the player gets caught, the player will receive a game over. To hide, the player presses both ZR and ZL to go under the covers. However, if 9-Volt stays under the covers too long while 5-Volt is not there, he will use up the meter at the top of the TV. If that meter hits 0, 9-Volt will fall asleep and the player will get a game over. 5-Volt mainly looks in from the window, opens the bedroom door or leans out of the TV though there are also fake-outs for each of these. There is a chance that 5-Volt will stay in the room and watch TV and the player can play while the TV is on.
In the 18-Volt mode, the player only has to keep playing the games with no 5-Volt mechanic, removing most of the tension.

The player must poke the object with a finger until it breaks. |

The player must roll the rolling pin and stretch the subject. |
 Spotlight |
The player, as a celebrity with a star-shaped head, must stay in the spotlight for a moment, but not stray too far from it. |
 Super Fly Swatter |
The player must swat all 20 flies/Wario noses/Baby Faces on screen with the giant fly swatter. |
 Dinosaur |
The player must avoid being eaten by a dinosaur when it bites. |
 Eye Exam |
An eye doctor will point at one of the four circles, and the player must indicate the direction its groove is pointing to. Each stage requires the player to answer twice to win. |
 Ball (G&W) |
The player must juggle the balls by placing the character's right or left hand under them as they reach the lowest spot. |
 Samurai Slice |
The player, as the Wandering Samurai, must slice the fish on the conveyor belt by slashing the sword on the correct beats. |
 Matryoshka |
The player must take all the matryoshka dolls apart or put them together. |
 Fake Out |
The player, who is presented a fake version of another microgame, must not touch anything to win. |
 Dachshund |
The player must make a dog eat food items and avoid eating non-food items. |
 Bananas |
The player, as an office worker, must jump over the banana peels on the way as he walks, so not to slip. |
 Fish |
The player, as a fish, must swim to and eat three worms while also avoiding worms that are bait, and an eel. |
 Loose Tooth |
There are five teeth, and the player, as an oval-like creature, must stand on healthy ones and avoid standing on unhealthy ones, which decay and fall. |
 Allergy Attack |
The player must move a girl with a runny nose left and right while her mucus strand gets longer so it traps a Fronk before breaking off. |
 Transform! |
The player must transform a boy to save a girl from a villain. |
 Homeward |
The player must choose, out of three paths, the one that will take a man home. |
 Record Guy |
The player must flick a small dancing man off the record and into the trash bin when he is close enough to the hand. |
 BOSS: Windbag |
The player controls a caped character holding a giant cork, and their objective is to seal a giant's mouth with it. To do so, the player must walk across the giant's hand all the way to his face, while he blows against them and obstacles try to take them down, making the player lose if they touch them. |
Trivia[]
- In the Wii U version (and the Super Smash Bros. stage), a Virtual Boy is next to 9-Volt's TV, but in the 3DS version, it is replaced with a Wii U.
