Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition (also known as Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes) is the sequel to Disney Infinity with the main focus on the addition of the Marvel Universe characters. The game launched in two version; The Marvel Super Heroes starter pack with Thor, Iron Man and Black Widow, and The Toy Box Starter Pack with Merida from Brave and Stitch. A digital version was also released that required the player to get the portal separately.
The game has three different scenarios. The first is the Avengers where they try and stop Loki from rebuilding the Casket of Ancient Winters. The second is Spider-Man where he and a team attempt to stop the Green Goblin with his symbiote invaders. The third is about the Guardian of the Galaxy where they protect Knowhere from Ronan the Accuser like in te film.
