Elazar Shach
Elazar Menachem Man Shach (Ibrani: אלעזר מנחם מן שך : , Elazar Shach ; 1 Januari 1899 (kalendar Julian) – 2 November 2001) ialah seorang rabi Haredi Yahudi-Lituania utama di Bnei Brak, Israel. Ia juga berkhidmat salah satu dari tiga dekan Yeshiva Ponevezh di Bnei Brak . Kerana perbezaannya dengan kepemimpinan Hasidik Agudat Yisrael pada 1984, ia bersekutu dengan Rabi Ovadia Yosef, yang bersama dengannya ia menubuhkan parti Shas. Kemudian pada 1988, Shach sangat mengkritik Ovadia Yosef, berkata bahawa, "Sepharadim tak siap untuk kedudukan-kedudukan kepemimpinan", dan kemudian menubuhkan parti politik Degel HaTorah mewakili Yahudi Ashkenazi Lituania (non-Hasidik) dalam Knesset Israel.[1]
