More quickie Christmas cards.

Morning all, I hope your all well and staying warm, its been really cold last few days hasn't it, but then again it is November so why the surprise I wonder, hahaha.

Right, onto the cards, ran some card through the big shot with a lovely Crafters Companion folder which a kind crafter once sent me. Then grabbed these sweet little stickers and placed onto red card cut into circles, added a branch or two with touches of white ink, the merry Christmas is from a pack I bought , I like these because they are sturdy and you can use in the plain wood or colour them up and your done.

Placed onto red cardstock and then white card, they do have slight differences but so cute.

Next up is a simple die cut tree backed with gold card and edged with same and deckle edged, I also have a small piece over so made a tag to match., Sorry about the photo, I stood it on a box in my room and then found I couldn't cut it down, thems the breaks as they say.

The sentiment is from a set I bought which really doesn't cut that well, abit sad really but thats what you get sometimes don't you. The gold string I bought on a day out with my girls last weekend, its a really big ball on a gorgeous little woodern dolly, it cost a fiver which I think was great value, think it was TKMAX, I had a real nice afternoon out, spent more than I should, like you do, got some lovely bits and bobs for Christmas gifts, went for lunch and by the time I got home was exhausted but it was so good, of course Mia says we should do it again next week Nan .....errmmmm, can I wait a week or two first please, hahah

Thats all for today I think, I am hoping to get a few more things done later today and I have a few envelopes to make too, its all go, hahaha, how I ever got time to work I'll never know !!!!!!

Christmas is coming....

Have been seeing a few of this style card about and yesterday managed to crawl into my craft room, my back has been so bad the last few days, anyways, these are easy to make, you don't need much in the way of Christmas 'things', so lets have a look.

Kraft card, some corrigated card cut to look like trees, some angel hair, stars, a nice mdf sentiment, oh and I stencilled a few snowflakes around, once all assembled, I sprayed with 'Spray and Shine and that was it, made two as they are so easy and I am a few cards short.

Hope you like, I love a quick job and it saved me back from sitting too long too, win win. !!!

Right, off to see what the day brings, not much as moving can still be a beggar, but you have to keep trying.

Have a safe Bonfire night everyone, take care.

Happy rainy day Monday.....

Hello all, hope you all had a good weekend and are well, so many bugs about. My DIL has been quite ill, it started on her birthday last week so as yet not seen her, she is so lovely and I always say we are so lucky to have her in the family, fingers crossed we will get to see her soon.

********************************

OK, so I bought these little flat pack boxes but didn't realise they subject matter, it was all lovey dovey,  usually I would make my own, but thought for once I would take the easy route !!!! was I wrong, anyways, I had these beautiful papers from temu, so decided to use them.

This is how they started

Here they are

Edged with gold wax, hadn't changed the ribbon at this point just wanted to see what it looked like.

Thought they would make nice table gifts at the dinner table come Christmas, filled with some deliciousness of course.

Anyway this now lives with Mia of course haha.

I am off to do some house work and then who knows what, I have a new book looking at me, I pre-ordered it last February, it finally got here last week and I just haven't got round to it. Its Al Pacino, Sonny Boy, I love him, especially when he was younger and his story sounds worth reading about, so maybe I will get round to it.

Have a good day friends, a big 'THANKYOU' to those of you who always make it here with every post I do, I really appreciate the loyalty to me and my blog, so many can't be bothered anymore, its sad really but there you go.

Getting ready for Halloween...

I have made a couple of tags for the boys bags, I looked everywhere yesterday for a stamp set I bought last year, all spooky stuff, can I find it, well no, so the pumpkin die came out and I just hope they like it, mind you, they will probably like the treats to notice :))

Coloured the pumpkin with inks, put them on a spring so they wobble about, cut some letters out of gold card, added some gold ink splashes and added some charms I had.

Colouring in progress...yes one of the branches snapped off, stuff happens what can you do....

Thats it for now, I have had three birthdays this week alone, including todays, my DIL, and still got two more to go before the month is out, I tell you, October is a pain of a month for me these days :)) but shouldn't moan.

Have a lovely weekend, its abit chilly but dry, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Christmas card.

Good morning, I managed to get into my room yesterday while the sun was shining, and made this quickie card, I found I am short a few so need to sort.

Its a quick make as its just some DP I found in my drawer, some twine and a little wood sign, done.

No idea where I got this paper pack, but its quite nice I think for a quick card.

Inside, not yet stamped a sentiment but will get round to it before it leaves.

Also thought I would share these.

The best pic I could get when the northern lights came to visit, it must be great to have a proper camera, but I was happy to see it.

Hunters moon, it was actually wonderful IRL, so big and it just lit the sky up across our fields, beautiful.

Last but not least, misty morning, the other day I woke up to this, this one was taken from the back bedroom, we are surrounded with such beautiful fields, I am grateful each day for that, no matter the season, the views are just a lovely sight.

I think that's it, hope I haven't bored you to much.

Enjoy the day, see you all soon.

Short post.

Hi all, hope you are all well.

I haven't made anything new for a week or so, well apart from a Evacuee tag for my little grandsons school class, they were learning about the war, he looked so realistic it made me cry to think of them all, haha. No photo but thats ok, it turned out well. Anyways, I looked through my pics and found this, not posted as not to struck, but here goes.

Birthday tag, cut the shape from white card, rubbed some ink and stamped some script and swirls, had to do the splashes of course, then added the shapes, you know I have had those dies forever and hardly used them at all, then added a birthday sentiment, double cut, done.

As I look at this I am not so sure if I did show this before but can't find any sign of it, sorry if you remember it, senior moments and all that stuff.

Thats all for today, I have lots to get on with its just getting round to doing it all.

Stay well and warm, the sudden drop in temps has been a change this week but  so long as the rain stops who cares..

Thankyou so much for leaving a comment, it means so much.

Journal page

Hi to all, I hope this will be a quick post, spare you all :))

Made this page about an hour ago, its a slight bit warmer here today so I ventured into my back room, it gets so cold you wouldn't believe, anyways, here it is.

Warm shades for the time of year, the images are from some Mintay papers I have had tucked away, like to look at them but dread using, how daft is that. The wording is from my label maker.

That's that then. Below you will see  photo of my parents, today is Mams birthday, 100yrs. she was always the most elegant, smart woman you could wish to meet, always well presented and made my life brighter by just being in it.

I managed to get some flowers and Carla brought the roses she always loved, some years are harder than others, this has been a bad one. I have felt her loss so much, we were the best of friends, no one could ever replace her, and her guidance was priceless, what do you do when someone this wonderful has to leave, well, I remember how lucky I was to be her daughter, in all the good and bad times I may have had, she was there, always had my back. So, happy birthday Joanie, you are and always will be loved and remembered.

Thankyou all so much for your visit, I truly appreciate you all.
