Ron Wolcott is a wannabe father who was adopting the baby of Brianna Morris, a daughter named Emily Rose she had from an affair with dermatologist Dr. Archibald Newlands. Ron was horrified when Brianna personally told him she changed her mind and wanted to keep Emily Rose, since his wife Kelly and he were trying and failing for years to get pregnant.
When Brianna and Emily Rose were found murdered during Brianna's labor, due to Emily Rose being found in a drain not far from Brianna's apartment, Ron and Kelly were questioned regarding the adoption. Ron and Kelly immediately became suspects when the retraction was found out, but Ron swore he and Kelly were never involved and really wanted Emily Rose as their baby.
It was revealed Newlands was the real killer, but during an investigation where he was suspected of the child rapes committed by Peter Nestler when Newlands cheated a paternity test, he was shot in the back of the head. (SVU: "Serendipity")
