Jeannine Wilson is a journalist who kept a steady affair with Hudson University lab director Dr. Charles Blanchard. When she wanted to break it off after finding out he was married, he allegedly injected her with a volatile strain of the SARS virus he had imported, disguised as a B12 shot that he used to give her for chronic fatigue. She infected numerous other people inadvertently, including her and Blanchard's illegitimate son Tanner. Tanner's rheumatoid arthritis left him more susceptible to illness, and he eventually died.
Blanchard was taken to trial, but his wife Elaine perjured on the stand and successfully secured him an acquittal. (L&O: "Patient Zero")
