Talis victus e plantis, et saepissime e frumentis constat (sicut e tritico, hordeo, secale, avena, zea mays, oryza) sed et e Solano tuberoso, Ipomoea batatas, Colocasia esculenta, Dioscorea esculenta aliisque.
