Duca, sodalis factionis Liberalis, anno 1907 legatus ad parlamentum electus est. Annis 1914 - 1918 administer educationis fuit, annis 1919 - 1920 administer agriculturae, annis 1922 - 1926 administer rerum exterarum et internarum (1926 - 1927). Die 14 Novembris 1933 primus minister nominatus est, sed die 29 Decembris a sicariis Cohortis Ferricae necatus est, quod hanc hanc cohortem dissolvi iusserat.
