The Caden Composition

The target is Dexy Barat, Jordan Cross' manager. She starts on the North Wing Second Floor by the stairs to the Recording Studio, has a quick word with the guards, then makes her way to Cross' Roof Garden to talk to him, have a smoke in the garden itself, and take phone calls. You can also do the "Bugman", "It's My Party" and "The Smoking Gun" Opportunities to move her to the Reception, Birthday Reception and Laundry Room, respectively, but that won't be necessary.

There are many of Jordan Cross' Bodyguards throughout the Recording Studio and a few scattered around the rest of the North Wing and beyond. By starting undercover in the 2nd Floor Hallway as Recording Crew (Mastery Level 19), Barat will be right next to you, but you can also start in 47's Suite (Mastery Level 4) or even undercover by the Security Hut as Hotel Security (Mastery Level 2) and make your way across the Reception Roof to wind up there quickly as well. If you don't have a Recording Crew disguise, you can still find a bodyguard in Room 201, across from the stairs to the Recording Studio, who can be lured into the bedroom by turning the TV on. If you're quick enough, you can lure one of the bodyguards guarding the stairs to the crate around the corner, knock him out, hide his body and take his disguise, then lure Barat to the same spot while she's still talking to the other guard, although the timing is tricky. Be aware that Barat is an enforcer of the bodyguard disguise.

Alternatively, once you have the disguise, you can poison her champagne with lethal poison found in Room 102's bathroom next to the North Wing's Security Room (although you will need a key hacker or the master keycard to access it), or you can ue emetic rat poison found in the exterminator's van in the Delivery Area or the basement, or you can smuggle in your own poison. You can also lure Barat into Heidi Santoro's bedroom (which has the guitar you can play in it) when she's standing by the statues by having her almost detect you (as bodyguards are trespassing in that room) and kill her there.

The new target is Stan Taggart, one of Jordan Cross' Bodyguards, who walks back and forth on the south edge of the Recording Studio, around and underneath the south stairs to Cross' Roof Garden.

There is a crate he walks by that is isolated and can be used to easily kill Taggart and hide his body without detection. Be careful, as Taggart is also an enforcer of the Jordan Cross' Bodyguard disguise.

The new complication is made easier by the fact that both targets are in close proximity to each other. Taggart does not require any prep to eliminate fairly quickly, so it's a matter of whether you kill him before or after Barat. If you manage to lure Barat to the crate before she makes her way upstairs like previously described, then you should eliminate Taggart first, then quickly run downstairs and snap Barat's neck. If you poison Barat with the champagne or do anything else to her while she's in the top-floor Roof Garden, then you should eliminate her first before dealing with Taggart, for the sake of convenience.

The new target is Neil Burgess, a recording crew member who's meant to be delivering Dexy Barat's note to Ken Morgan, but is instead procrastinating in Room 202 (on the same floor as the stairs to the Recording Studio on the North Wing) with a few other members of the recording crew. He stands around smoking in the living room, and occasionaly urinates in the bathroom.

The bathroom is the best place to kill Burgess, as he is completely alone in there, and you can even get an accident kill by drowning him to prevent the body potentially being discovered penalizing your score, but drowning him takes a while, so you may not have enough time during the countdown. Burgess can be eliminated last (and is the most convenient to do so, for the sake of exfiltrating a little faster), but if your timing is unlucky and he's still in the living room you can lure him into the bathroom with a coin.

The new complication now requires all three targets to be eliminated with a katana. The katana itself can be found in Heidi Santoro's bedroom, the same area that Barat can be lured into by almost seeing you trespassing or by poisoning her champagne with emetic poison. Despite the Wild Card complication removing the disguise restrictions, you should still equip one of Jordan Cross' Bodyguards' disguise, as the katana is un-concealable and only legal for guards, and bodyguards are the only guards allowed in the Recording Studio and Cross' Roof Garden. It is advisable to start with Barat and make your way down to the other targets. Note that you can no longer pacify the targets in preparation, because you cannot throw weapons at unconscious bodies in HITMAN™, so they must be conscious in order to be killed with the katana.

Once Barat is dead, move on to Taggart, who should be relatively easy to get within a minute from Santoro's bedroom/bathroom, then kill Burgess, who will give you much less time, especially if you have to navigate around some of the more obstructive enforcers of the bodyguard disguise along the way. Again, if he isn't alone in the bathroom when you get there, lure him in with a coin.
