Trivia[]

  • Breaking open a door with the crowbar is a noisy action that will attract the attention of nearby characters. This should be treated the same as an overheard gunshot. Quick enough action performed outside enemy line of sight can negate this.
    • In the Ark Society, it is legal to break open storage crates with the crowbar when the player is disguised as the Custodian, since handling crates is part of their duties. Some of the items in the crates may still be illegal to retrieve, however.
  • The length of the crowbar allows it to prevent sliding doors from closing if it is placed in their path. This works on doors that slide along a track and not work on swinging doors, which knock it out of their path.
