Another thing I have been working on recently is hair bows for Adelyn.  While I was house-sitting for my daughter’s family, I cranked these ones out. :)

I have been working on this afghan for a few weeks now, but am happy to be posting that it is finished!  I house-sat for my daughter’s family this weekend and was able to get it finished while there.  I took advantage of her lovely front porch to have a little photo session with my afghan. :)

First of all…Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!  I had a quiet day of crocheting & scrapbooking.  This is one of the digital scrapbook pages I did today.  It holds a special place in my heart.  :) And please pardon my appearance…yes, I’m in shorts and a tank top, my every day attire even when it’s chilly out.  My husband likes it warmer in our house than I do.  LOL

I recently bought a couple pkg. of receiving blankets at Ross’s, and just had to edge a couple of them for Lawson.  Laura said they’re a nice size for the stroller.  I also edged a couple for her to use as part of a baby shower gift, but I forgot to take pics of them.  Here are the ones I made for Lawson.

Today I finished my second lapghan.  I used this pattern, which I have used a couple times before.  Works up quickly, and is great for using partial skeins of yarn.  :)
