Curious, is there an error concerning the paragraph about Doom in Final Fantasy XIII? It states that summoning an Eidolon onto temp halts it, but is it even possible to summon an Eidolon in an Eidolon fight? I thought all the leaders in those battles were the people obatining their Eidolon (i.e. Vanille being party leader when obtaining Hecatonchier.) Maybe I'm just..Loosing it? - Bosses cast Doom if the battle takes longer than 20 minutes. Keltainentoukokuu 21:54, June 11, 2010 (UTC)Keltainentoukokuu
Doom + Haste[]
I've demonstrated a feat in FF6 where I cast Doom on an enemy then Haste on the target that has the aforementioned status. Does the countdown begin to go faster than usual once an enemy has a Doom status? --Pat141elite (talk) 15:49, August 7, 2015 (UTC)
FFXIII[]
Doom can be avoided in Final Fantasy XIII, it's a little tricky, but this video proves it.

It also Works on Steam version, I Did it once against Barthandelus II
- Hmm that is interesting. So if the player character dies when an Eidolon is out right when the enemy is to use Doom, it won't target the player?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 18:54, March 2, 2020 (UTC) EDIT: The link in the linked video description explains how it works. Great! Thanks, never knew about this.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 19:01, March 2, 2020 (UTC)
It doesn't work everytime, the Boss can delay Doom. It's a little random, but it works.
