Silencega (サイレガ, Sairega?, lit. Silega) is a recurring spell from the Final Fantasy Final Fantasy series. It is an upgraded area of effect form of Silence.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy XI[]
Silencega is a spell only used by certain Notorious Monsters, such as Dynamis Lord and Bahamut. It is also considered White Magic instead of Black, as is the regular Silence.
Final Fantasy XII[]
Silencega casts Silence on all foes in range. In the original version, it is a Green Magick spell, which can be used after obtaining the Green Magick 5 license. It can bought in Archades for 6,800 gil.
In the Zodiac versions, Silencega is Black Magick 8 license. It costs 70 LP and consumes 22 MP. The spell is found in the Necrohol of Nabudis's Hall of Effulgent Light. The job classes that can learn Silencega are Black Mage and Uhlan, although Uhlan must first obtain the Esper Chaos and the Black Magick 7 licenses first.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]
Silencega is learned by enemy Black Mages at level 24. The spell deals the Silence status to a group of opponents.
