The
Right Probe is a boss in
Final Fantasy VIII . It forms a part of
Mobile Type 8 and operates as a separate target. It will use
Homing Laser when attacked when Support mode is on, and
Twin Homing Laser when Mobile Type 8 is attacked when Mobile mode is on, but only if the
Left Probe is also alive.
