Vaan's brother, two years his elder. A volunteer in the Dalmascan army who alongside Basch attempted to prevent the king's assassination, but was instead framed and imprisoned as part of Gabranth's conspiracy. A gentle young man deeply fond of his homeland, his younger brother, and fragrant, red galbana lilies.

Reks is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who can be recruited during Lost Chapter Fear for Home.

Reks has white-blond hair and pale blue eyes. He wears a short leather shirt that bares his midriff, curved pieces of armor on the sides of his neck, plated bracers and leather fingerless gloves, strips of leather round his waist with a metal plate in front, black trousers under metal and leather greaves, and flat brown shoes with the toes cut away. A blue brooch upon his chest resembles the one his brother Vaan wears.
