An amulet that seems to faintly cry "kupo" when worn.
Description
Moogle's Amulet is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII Remake that makes enemies more likely to drop items when defeated.
Obtained[]
There is only one Moogle's Amulet in the game, won from the Corneo Colosseum battle challenge "Two-Person Team vs. Team Payback".
Use[]
Moogle's Amulet can be used to get more item drops from enemies. However, in Hard Mode the player can't use items. Even in a Normal Mode playthrough, shops are numerous and most items are available for purchase, making it more useful to use the accessory slot for something else.
Etymology[]
Moogle is a recurring mascot creature in the Final Fantasy series, also appearing in Final Fantasy VII Remake in the Chocobo & Moogle summon, Moggie, and as a minion to the Fat Chocobo boss. The moogle's Japanese name, Mōguri (モーグリ), is a portmanteau of the words for mole (土竜, mogura?) and bat (蝙蝠, kōmori?). "Moogle" is the localized version of Mōguri, losing the pun, though "moogle" has started to appear in Japanese sources as well.
