Description
Hastega is a Time Magic spell in Final Fantasy V. It grants the haste effect to the entire party, doubling the rate their Active Time Battle bar fills, effectively doubling their turn rate.
Haste is also an enemy ability that can be cast by Chrono Controller.

Use[]
Hastega is an extremely useful spell due to how potent the haste buff is. Hastega should be used in all longer battles and boss battles once the spell is acquired, and especially in combination with Mighty Guard, it can give the player a great advantage in more dangerous battles.
The basic Haste spell only applies the effect to one target, meaning it should only be used to conserve MP if the player only needs one party member hasted. Another way to bestow Haste is with the Speed Shake with the Drink command and with the Hasty-ade and Blessed Kiss mixes.
