Gumbah is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XI.
He is a young Galka who lives in the Republic of Bastok under the care of Werei. It is revealed that he is the new talekeeper. He becomes a central character in Final Fantasy XI: The Voracious Resurgence.

As the new talekeeper, Gumbah struggles with having the memories and feelings of all the deceased Galkas in the last 200 years. He initially considers it as a curse and doesn't want to have any of the responsiblities such position carries, doing his best to keep his nature as the talekeeper hidden.
