Biff Byford paljasti vuonna 2009 Crusader -levyn remasteroidun version kansilehdessä, ehkä jopa hieman yllättäen, että Crusader on Saxonin myydyin levy. Levyllä on edellisalbumeita amerikkalaistyylisempi, mutta myös metallisempi soundi ja nykyään Crusader on Saxonin suosituimpia levyjä. Jylhä Sailing To America julkaistiin singlenä mutta se ei saanut merkittävää menestystä.
