IRAYANG SOLONG
[edit][[Minalabac) The word Irayang Solong comes from the Bicol word "Iraya" meaning Mountain and "Solong", river or stream. Its name was taken from its river that flows from the mountain down to the Bicol River. Its magnifecent river provides fresh fish like puyo, tilapya and many more. The river is also used in farming. The entire Barangay is sorrounded by large Farm and during rainy season and strong typhoons, the barangay Irayang Solong submerged into the water for almost a week. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.147.8.119 (talk) 04:41, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Gratitude and Invitations:
First, I would like to thank WIKIPEDIA (The Free Encyclopedia) for giving us the opportunity to contribute on their page given to Minalabac. Thinking of "who are we to them" to used their effort to include us and even care about our Municipality. This is a global opportunity, we must not just let it go. It is inevitable for us to share and update whatever data and information we can give regarding our Municipality.
The time is now, if you have something there that you think will help our town and people, share it with us. We, as the Tumatarokans (mga taga Minalabac) must participate. It is our responsibility to help our Minalabac to grow. After all, our race are the one will benefit from it.
Yoyoy San Jose, Jr.
- Minalabac is famous for "Tumatarok Festival" a thanksgiving dance/festival being performed by our farmers for a bountiful harvest in a year, mostly in the month of May.
