Edit request: "Canada has highest immigration rate" doesn't match cited data

The lead says "Canada has one of the highest per-capita immigration rates in the world." and links to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_by_net_migration_rate.

However if you look at that table, Canada's rate is 7.1 while Qatar, Lebanon, Oman, Jordan, etc. all have rates of 25 or higher. Canada is nowhere close to "one of the highest in the world" according to this data. So either the data is wrong or the article is wrong.

Can we change this to "Canada has one of the highest per-capita immigration rates *among western countries*"? That would be more accurate to the data. 50.47.220.36 (talk) 17:08, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
