Also, Chanda sahib began to conspire against the Nawab Anwaruddin in [[Carnatic]]. Dupleix sided with Chanda sahib and Muzaffar Jang to bring them into power in their respective states. Chanda Shahib was defacto nawab of carnatic between 1749 and 1752. He was supported by French General Joseph François Dupleix.
