Second Phase of the Revolution (Persian: گام دوم انقلاب) or "Second Step of the Revolution"[1][2][3] is a statement[4][5][6][7] which has been issued by the supreme leader of Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei,[8] and he addressed it to the nation of Iran,[9][1] particularly to the youth.[9][10] This statement has been published in Feb 2019, on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.[1][11]

In "the second phase of the revolution" which is briefly known as --the statement of-- "the second phase" ("the second step"),[12] Seyyed Ali Khamenei proceeds to the expression of the achievements of the recent forty years --of the Islamic revolution-- in order to continue its way; he also presents several recommendations in this statement with the goal of "a great Jihad for the sake of making a great Islamic Iran".[13] The supreme leader explains and clarify the issue of "the second step" towards Islamic revolution ideals in seven sections.[14]
