Dunoding is the name of an ancient sub kingdom and later cantref of Gwynedd in north Wales. Named after Prince Dynod a son of the legendary founding father of Gwynedd - Cunedda Wledig - who drove the Irish settlers from the area in c.460. The large cantref was split in to the cantrefi of Eifionydd and Ardudwy during the early middles ages. It is now part of the county of Gwynedd.
