The Chiles-Walker party was an early emigrant group on the Oregon Trail. The travelers were guided by experienced mountain men Joseph B. Chiles and Joseph R. Walker. The party included Samuel J. Hensley, Pierson B. Reading, and William ("Uncle Billy") Hicks.
