Synonyms

[edit]

Contents of #Synonyms section moved here, so we can work on finding source references for these:

Puff, solid, rocky, nup, charas, shish, choco, chocolate, xoco, xocolat, kif and others. Street names often refer to the shape in which the hash is formed, such as a candy bar, soap bar, nine bar, finger, patties, or surfboard. The country of origin is also used as a description, for example black Afghan, blonde Lebanese, or Moroccan.

See WP:Verifiability, and WP:CITE for more information, and Help:Footnotes for a how-to guide. Mathglot (talk) 00:18, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Scale

[edit]

Please avoid using US coins for the purposes of giving a scale, the vast majority of the world's population do not use these coins and therefore do not necessarily know how big they are. A measuring tape or ruler would be much better. Thanks. 2A02:C7C:316B:6C00:514F:C974:A351:9342 (talk) 10:55, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hashish Page

[edit]

I'm suggesting an edit to the 'Hashish' page and I'm not one who posts. Apologies if I'm dropping this in the wrong place.

In my experience the pictures used are showing 'basic' or 'low-grade' Hashish products.

'Brown Hash' is mixed with resins from burned products like those left over in a pipe.

'Green Hash' comes from seeded plants that are harvested early, and is mixed with minced leaf and stem clippings.

'Gold Hash' is 90-100% compressed pure 'keif' (dried, clean flower sap), then a small amount of fresh, ripe, clean pure sap is added to solidify the mix. Add more sap and the mix gains a more clay like texture. Some add cured and crushed premium flower to the mix - as seen in Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' where B.Geldof is scraping some of a 'Tied Stack' (Tie-Stick) and smoking it right before he is forced onto stage. 174.85.72.207 (talk) 19:01, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
