Sabah election figures
[edit]Good morning. I produced a table with the comprehensive results of Sabah State Elections 2013 in the german branch of Wikipedia (de:Wahlen zum Landesparlament in Sabah 2013). If you want to use the table for the english artice, I can translate the german terms to English. Cheers, --Cccefalon (talk • contribs) 05:22, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- That would be great. In the meanwhile, I think you should also ask one or two main editors on the Malaysian general election, 2013 article, they may have some ideas and feedback on this. Thanks a lot! -Stv59 (talk) 11:33, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- Here we are :) Enjoy, --Cccefalon (talk • contribs) 22:24, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Template:Indonesian legislative election, 2014
[edit]Hi,I was just about to create that table, then realised you had. About to go to bed, given that the Indonesian Elections Commission look like they won't meet the deadline for announcing the results. Anyway, I notice you've included a column in the results table for "swing". This is not a term that has (so far) been mentioned in election coverage here - the media prefers to stick to the +/-% figures. This means that anybody wanting to complete this column would probably have to calculate it themselves rather than rely on media sources. Do you happen to know if this would count as WP:OR? If so, would you have any thoughts about removing that column? I know you've done a lot of work on elections in this region, so as a fellow election geek, I'd prefer to ask first, rather than being WP:BOLD. Regards Davidelit (Talk) 16:49, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for pointing that out. I chose the word "Swing" as it is more common in other election articles in pointing the change of percentage of votes obtained by a party. Nonetheless, I do not think that using the +/-% figures instead is a bad idea. Stv59 (talk) 09:12, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Confusion in the previous message- WAM
[edit]Hello again, I believe the earlier message has created some confusion. If you have already submitted the details in the Google form, it has been accepted, you don't need to submit it again. The earlier reminder is for those who haven't yet submitted their Google form or if they any alternate way to provide their address. I apologize for creating the confusion. Thanks-Sailesh Patnaik
Hello. It's not entirely clear to me what the purpose of these articles is. Individual constituencies are notable, but I don't see why an article is needed on certain groupings of constituencies. I am planning on taking these articles to AfD, but thought I would ask you first. Cheers, Number 57 23:35, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your message. My idea came from similar articles used for the constituencies of the US House and the British House of Commons, e.g. respectively Ohio's congressional districts and list of Parliamentary constituencies in London. I thought making the groupings was a good idea, as readers will be able to find out the MPs for each prefecture in one article. Just like in the US and UK examples. Cheers, Stv59 (talk) 02:47, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
Invitation to join Women in Red
[edit] Thank you for creating several articles on women and their works over the past few weeks. We have become aware of your contributions thanks to research undertaken by Bobo.03 at the University of Minnesota. We think you might be interested in becoming a member of our WikiProject Women in Red where we are actively trying to reduce Wikipedia's content gender gap. You can join by using the box at the top of the WiR page. But if you would like to receive news of our activities without becoming a member, you can simply add your name to our mailing list. In any case, thank you for actively contributing to the coverage of women (currently, 17.55% of English Wikipedia's biographies). Our priorities for April:

Wikipedia Asian Month 2018
[edit]Hey Stv59,
My name is Yu Lun, and I’m from the Wikipedia Asian Month International Team. It’s a great pleasure to meet you and see the effort you have put into the previous edition of WAM. Thank you! On a side note, have you received your postcard? If you have yet to receive the postcard, I can help you to check our records.
We are currently preparing the 2018 edition of the Wikipedia Asian Month and would like to check with you if you are still willing to organize the WAM on the English Wikipedia? On behalf of the WAM team, I will be the liaison to English Wikipedia this year. So if you have any questions, requests or ideas, feel free to contact me directly.
Meanwhile, as a WAM organizer, we will put you on this mailing list (https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wam-announce) that is exclusively for organizers only. We will keep emails from that list to a minimal. But feel free to let us know if you wish to not be subscribed. Here is a survey we would like you to fill in (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfxUiT2RILnuOr3eacXzYwCgda6s2IcgRqSQZdYPy_GadWHxg/viewform?usp=sf_link). This survey will ensure that we will be able to better help you in WAM 2018. I’m looking forward to seeing you at this year’s event!
-Yulun5566 (talk) 07:17, 30 June 2018 (UTC) on behalf of WAM International Team
- Hi Yulun5566,
Thanks for contacting me. Certainly, I would be happy to continue helping to organise the WAM this year.

[edit]Discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari
[edit]I invite you to please join the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari.
Hello, we are seeking help with the Sarah Azhari article, created in 2013 & recently the subject of a deletion proposal. At issue was whether or not the Indonesian language sources establish notability. I am inviting you to the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari#Help with Indonesian language sources because you are in the Category:User id-N & have a minimum of 1,000 edits across all Wikimedia projects.
I realize that some of you are very busy while others may no longer be editing. Nevertheless, I thought it wise to consult with you.
Thank your for the work that you do on Wiki[mp]edia! Peaceray (talk) 21:06, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
