editIs there a reasonable explanation to why Group B winner Poland did not qualify to the Olympics but Group C winner Japan did? There reads: With the top level shrinking, no one was promoted but Japan earned a trip to the Grenoble Olympics. Huh? Sounds stupid and strange. 85.217.34.67 (talk) 02:05, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- And why do you believe that Poland did not qualify to the Olympics? They did but declined to participate along with Italy. The phrase about Japan is meant to read that Japan's inclusion in the Olympics was some consolation for not getting the promotion they earned.18abruce (talk) 02:27, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't know that. I only knew they didn't participate and drew my conclusions from that. And I just noticed that France qualified automatically as the host, that in part got me confused. 85.217.34.67 (talk) 22:31, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
