Hi -- I'm inconvenienced by the seemingly random behaviour of a semi-protected article I've been editing: some of my edits instantly go through as auto-confirmed, but many of them do not and become a pending revision for no good reason that I understand. Thanks, Chetsford! This hasn't solved the issue, though: on the semi-protected article I get edits held as pending reviews even though I'm not "new". I wonder if this might be a software bug. A while ago I had my English account turned into a "global" account, which I now use occasionally on the German Wikipedia. The German Wikipedia apparently treats this account as "new", and, annoyingly, holds all my edits as pending reviews. Is it possible that this behaviour of the German Wikipedia is now affecting semi-protected articles on the English Wikipedia? ARK (talk) 10:02, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
