Summary
DescriptionMAN 32 tonne truck.jpg |
English: Caption A MAN 32 tonne recovery vehicle of 158 Transport Regiment is put through its paces on a training exercise. The family of Support Vehicles built by MAN will, over the next ten years, gradually replace all 4 Tonne, 8 Tonne and 14 Tonne cargo vehicles. They will primarily be used in the same roles as the current fleet of cargo vehicles. However, they will provide far greater mobility and have the ability to be fitted with increased armour, dependent on the operational threat at the time. The cab can be fitted with a 7.62 General Purpose Machine Gun. Variants being introduced: 6 Tonne (Medium Mobility) 9 Tonne (Medium Mobility & Improved Medium Mobility) 15 Tonne (Medium Mobility) Unit Support Tanker (Medium Mobility & Improved Medium Mobility) Recovery Vehicle |
