Empire Fields is a temporary outdoor football and soccer stadium built at the former location of Empire Stadium to serve as the home of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer during the construction of the retractable roof at BC Place Stadium.[2]

Seating
The temporary facility will feature 20,100 mostly covered seats, 7,400 bench seats, and 12 hospitality suites.[3]
Naming rights
While the stadium is currently referred to as Empire Fields, PavCo and the PNE are seeking for a corporate sponsor for the naming rights. Nussili, the Swiss company contracted to construct the stadium has been ruled out as sponsors.[4]
