where the text says 'and hotspots are still present' I'm guessing it is not suggesting that there are multiple volcanic hotspots - though clearly Jan_Mayen_hotspot is nearby. I presume the source refers to areas that are still 'hot' or display some geothermal activity? EdwardLane (talk) 00:01, 23 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
