External link template
editI propose adding the {{finance links historical}} template in the internal links section; this is pretty standard to have on formerly public U.S. companies such as this one. Any strong objections to my doing so? UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:47, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hearing no response, I went ahead and added the template. UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:19, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Controversies
editTwo of these sections were here. The part about their ad is more recent. NYTimes not only ran it, but ran the topic more than once. Nuts240 (talk) 01:15, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
Use by police
editIt is a major omission to not mention anything about the use of the web site by law enforcement. Whatever your beliefs, it is in the public interest that the public should know that their dna can be compared to relatives through ancestry.com without a warrant. A huge number of such requests have been granted. This is worth at least some mention. 2600:6C55:40F0:89A0:4D08:B64:3276:B24 (talk) 23:58, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
