Mistake (first round)
editThe sum of the votes obtained by each candidate is 3,202,149; adding 224,069 (invalid votes), total is 3,426,218; instead, 3,416,218 has been indicated. --151 cp (talk) 23:28, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- Possibly a typo in the Constitutional Court source, which does have that as the stated total. Number 57 23:33, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- Yes but how can we calculate the percentage of each candidate considering, as total votes, a wrong sum? For Keita, for example, we should indicate 41.57%, not 41.70%. --151 cp (talk) 23:39, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- Percentages aren't calculated on total votes, but on valid votes. Number 57 23:42, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- I do know: percentage of Keita has been calculated considering 100 the sum 3,192,149 (valid votes), while the correct sum of valid votes is 3,202,149. --151 cp (talk) 23:46, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- So looking again at the results, I worked out that the error is in Harouna Sankare's vote total, which the CC have seem to have accidentally added 10,000 to. Although it's stated to be 67,406, 57,406 is 1.80% of the valid votes, which is the same percentage that they have for him. I've corrected the table. Number 57 23:58, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
