:::The1337gamer Thanks for the reply. News outlets and Nintendo’s official websites do call New Super Mario Bros. a series. The Mario wiki also calls it a series and has an individual article about it. By definition, it is a series. I think what matters is whether there should be an article about it, not whether it’s a series. I would consult Wikipedia:Third opinion but can’t since I’m blocked. I would like to know someone else’s view on this, though. I think it’d be nice to let the series have its own article as the NSMB games are very different to the older Super Mario games (albeit with all four games being identical). Could you ask another editor about their opinion as well? Tantamounts talk contribs 18:51, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
::::I have been following this issue since the beginning and, as a 3rd opinion, concur with The1337gamer. The rather informal manner in which "series" is being utilized here does not warrant a entire new article. The existing content is more than sufficient. @Tanatamounts, I also agree with The1337gamer's suggestion that "Expanding and improving the existing article would [be] more constructive". (That is, when you return from your block). Hope this helps. - wolf 19:47, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
