Demon's Church is a stage that first appeared in Dead or Alive 2.
Story[]
Dead or Alive 2[]
In Kasumi's story, Kasumi X is seen at the church laughing maniacally. For gameplay however, the first stage which Kasumi always fights in is the church.
In both Ryu Hayabusa and Ein's stories, the pair encounter each other and Hayabusa is surprised to see him.
After the fight in Hayabusa's story (which is considered canon to the main story), Ein remembers his old friends. After the fight in Ein's story, he experiences a hallucination of Tengu dancing with his fan in the church.
Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate[]
Whilst the first stage that Kasumi starts off in has remained the church, the scene with Kasumi X (now known as Kasumi α) is now in DOATEC Germany.
As for Hayabusa and Ein, the only change which has occurred is that Tengu now dances at Miyama instead of the church.
