Great kingdoms and anemic townships will be one and the same."

Notes[]

  • The player will find the Old Woman's Ashes at her location after reaching the Filianore's Rest bonfire.
  • When the Stone-humped Hag dies after reaching Filianore's Rest, a non-hostile Angel will spawn in the sky above the initial area of the Dreg Heap. It will attack the player if attacked, but loses hostility once line of sight is broken for a few seconds.

Trivia[]

  • The ashes she drops show her wearing the Priestess Ring which is for the High Priestess of Lothric, as well as the Wet Nurse. In addition she was present in Lothric when Prince Lorian was alive[2] Thus it is possible that she is Emma or that she was the previous High Priestesses of Lothric.
  • The kingdoms and townships referred to are actually part of the Dreg Heap itself: most of the level is comprised of the ruins of Lothric, while there is one area that is visible (but cannot be visited) once the roots of the great tree in the swamp are climbed and the horizon zoomed in: the ruins of the Undead Settlement can be seen in the distance, between two sections of rubble.

Mutterings of the very demon that Prince Lorian spoke of, I'm sure.Horrible sounds, of an afflicted thing yet cursing men."
