Priscilla's Dagger (プリシラの短剣) is a dagger in Dark Souls.
In-Game Description
- This sword, one of the rare dragon weapons, came from the tail of Priscilla, the Dragon Crossbreed in the painted world of Ariamis.
- Possessing the power of lifehunt, it dances about when wielded, in a fashion reminiscent of the white-robed painting guardians.
Availability[]
Obtained by cutting off Crossbreed Priscilla's tail. This can be tricky, due to the small size of her tail and her insubstantial health. Players will need to deal 395 damage to her tail in order to cut it. If aggroed, players can break her invisibility using an unupgraded weapon that deals high Poise damage, then switch back to something upgraded to chop the tail. It is also possible to obtain the dagger before the battle properly starts, by attacking her tail with a strong downward attack using a high damage per hit weapon. Utilizing Power Within and Weapon Buffs will help take her tail off in a single strike.
Characteristics[]
Priscilla's Dagger's damage is unremarkable, and has a lower critical attack modifier than other daggers. This Dagger builds up bleed at the lowest possible rate of 20 per strike, though when procced it will take 50% of a target's max health; tied only with the Lifehunt Scythe. However, Lifehunt Scythe deals the highest build up per strike but also builds up bleed on it's wielder while Priscilla's Dagger will not. This weapon is best used in conjunction with another weapon that deals better bleed build up per strike, using this dagger on the final strike to proc bleed will do the entire 50% damage to the target.
Priscilla's Dagger is an Occult weapon but no Faith scaling, though the Occult auxiliary effect does not make it incredibly useful toward God type enemies and their followers.
Priscilla's Dagger has a unique moveset. While its weak attacks are the same as other daggers, its strong attacks are a graceful, flowing combo that is difficult to master.
Priscilla's Dagger is uncharacteristically fragile for a Dragon Weapon, having only 100 durability, the lowest of all dragon weapons. This may be due to lacking the shockwave attack typically associated to dragon weapons.
