Oh Man!

Hi there!

We hope you enjoyed Sylvoa's 'Alphabet Soup' challenge last week, we loved seeing your wonderful ideas, so thanbk you for sharing them with us.

This week it's me, Kathy here with a tricksy one for you - at least its always a tough theme for me! Like a lot of cardmakers I find men's cards a bit of a trial - and as all the boys in the family are getting too old for the kids cards I used to do for them I need lots of new ideas for cards for men

So my challenge is called

Oh Man!

and I would love you to make and share cards made with men in mind.

As always the design team have come up with some great ideas, and I can't wait to see all the inspiration you can share too

So many candles

We had lots of fun with Joanne’s inspiring elemental picture last week.

So this week it’s my, Miri’s, turn to set a dare and I want to see

SO MANY CANDLES!

Use one or more candles on your card.

Maybe you can use a birthday cake with candles on top? Or a very early Christmas or advent card? Or even use a real candle on your card?

February Elemental

Hello, welcome to another new month!

Thank you to everybody who brightened up dull wintery days (in the northern hemisphere - those in the southern could probably do with a bit of cooling down!) by sharing colourful creations with us.

Joanne here with your Elemental Challenge for February. Have a look at this month's inspiration picture and choose at least three elements to kickstart your creation. Colour palette counts as one choice so if you go with the colours, pick at least two other things as well.

For the photo I put together a few things from my craft room as well as the sweater I'm wearing as I type this! If you're in the mood for a Valentine, you might see a heart shape lurking in those buttons but there are loads of other possibilities: jeans/denim, knitted texture, pearlescence, bottle, lace, scissors, pins, pocket...
