Royal Wedding Inspired

Yesterday we saw Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot and many tuned into the spectacular event.  Comments were made about the various outfits donned for the special occasion and the queen was no exception in her Lemon/Lime outfit with purple accents.  I couldn’t resist creating a card using these colour tones as it is the perfect spring colour palette.

The outside was stamped using Concord & 9th’s Wreath Turnabout (and I have to say this is super easy to use!) along with inks from the Aladine IZINK range – full list of supplies below.  A window was created and then the other wreath stamp option used on the inside with Memento inks and Aladine Embossing powders.

Concord & 9th Playdate

I was so excited when Concord & 9th agreed to hop with the design team at Chameleon Art Products, their stamps and dies are the perfect match to Chameleon pens and pencils.  Once my stamps and dies arrived, I just couldn’t stop creating!

I wanted to create something to pay forward, so created this mantra poster for my Yoga teacher.

It was her personal saying to live by, I used my laser printer to print the mantra and then foiled using my Heidi Swapp machine.  I then stamped the Hello Lovely floral stamp around the edge of the page using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then Coloured using my Chameleon pens and Color Tops.  The finished poster was then mounted onto patterned paper from DCWV.

Materials used:  Chameleon Pens; Mellow Yellow, Spring Meadow, Dark Sage, Green Apple, Cornflower Blue, Peony Pink & Tangerine, Chameleon Color Tops; Lavender & Fuchsia. Rubber Moon Time

Lawn Fawn Fun

I was so excited to learn that Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko would be doing a swap with Lawn Fawn, they have such cute critters I couldn’t resist creating this card.

IMG_1109I just love the snow effect that you can achieve using the IrResistible Texture Spray Wedding Dress, it works so well with the Memento Inks.

There is also a little video showing how this card came to life and a bonus showing the decorated inside too!

Life has been so crazy that I have only just found time to post this Christmas card using the amazing Imagine Craft/Tsukineko and Memory Box Products! I wanted to make the inside just as special as the outside as you can see here.

Materials used:

Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black, Memento London Fog and Summer Sky inks, Sheer Shimmer Spritz Sparkle.   Memory Box Majestic Deer stamp, Flurry Frame and Cursive Merry masks, May Arts Burlap twine, SRM Stickers Merry #53006, Gem, White and Black Card Stock.

Chameleon Girlies

Some of you may have seen that I have been colouring in some images on Create and Craft TV during the shows, unfortunately there is never enough time to finish them on air, so I thought I would finish colouring and make into cards to share here.

Foxy Girl

This was coloured using Chameleon Pens, Hot Cocoa, Seville Orange, Olive Green, Bark, Bisque and Crimson Red. Other Memento Pistachio around edge of Paper Cellar Patterned paper, Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp Gorguss girl, Memento Cottage Ivy to colour in Heartfelt Creations sentiment. Die cut by Penny Black Heartstring.

Party Girl

This was created using Chameleon Pens Deep Black, Bark, Bisque, Cool Grey, Purple Grape and Crimson Red (The Grape and Red were overlaid to give a new colour for the dress). The Gorjuss girl was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and was mounted onto Paper Cellar patterned paper that was edged with Memento Sweet Plum ink.  The Heartfelt Creations sentiment was stamped using Versafine onyx Black ink.  The garlands were stamped using Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink and Penny Black clear stamp Wonderful and Jolly and then highlighted using a Signo white gel pen.

Bunny Girl

This was created using Chameleon Pens Crimson Red, Purple Grape, Bisque, Fawn, Deep Black, Hot Cocoa and Cool Grey. The Gorjuss girl was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and mounted onto Paper Cellar patterned paper edged with Memento Teal Zeal ink, the Heartfelt Creations Sentiment was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Authentique “Harmony” details and Card Making stack, May Arts String Burlap Ribbon Olive and Yellow Gold Fibres. Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento inks Dandelion, Pistachio and Olive Grove, Versafine Onyx Black Ink, Imagine Crafts Clear Embossing Powder, Willow Walnut Ink, Dandelion, Pear Tart and Olive Grove Dual tip marker pens. Yellow gem, Sizzix Tagged Scallop Combo Die, Ivory Linen and Grey card. Penny Black Dahlias stamp set 30-159 and Dimensional foam pads.

In My Heart

My godmother kindly let me stamp some of her Art Deco Ladies, I have finally had some time to colour a few in and this is the first card made using them.

Materials used, Art Deco Lady (sorry I do not know what set this came from) SRM sticker, Penny Black Banner and leaves dies, Penny Black Pointille stamp, Perfect Pearls, Spellbinders Dainty dots embossing folder and Sizzix Frame die. Chameleon Art Pens, Purple Grape, Bisque, Blue Violet, Grass Green and Summer Sun, Imagine Crafts Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and Purple Grape ink, gems, Purple, Black, withe and Blue card stock.
