Description
English: Twin Lodges At the entrance to West Drive from Beeston Lane.

A grand entrance for an internal junction, I suspect that this once formed the gateway to the university campus.

In this scenario Beeston Lane would have run round the outside of the grounds, the idea is borne out by the Historical Map and that virtually all the buildings on the outside of that line date from the expansion of the University from the late 1960s onward.
