English: Monument erected in 1900 to Timothy Bennet, aka Timothy the Cobbler, a shoe maker of Hampton Wick who in 1752 took the Earl of Halifax to Court and won Public access through Bushy Park from Hampton to Hampton Wick. The monument is outside Hampton Wick gate, the route is known as Cobbler's walk.
