Ελληνικά: Μεγάλη υποβρύχια καρστικης πηγή ”κιβέρι”, Αργολικός Κόλπος. Το νερό καθίζησης προέρχεται από τα καρστικοποιημένα ασβεστολιθικά βουνά της βορειοανατολικής Πελοπόννησου. Ελεγχόμενα φράγματα κρατούν το επίπεδο του γλυκού νερού υψηλότερο αποτρέποντας έτσι την ανάμειξη του θαλασσινού νερού με το γλυκό νερό. Το νερό είναι καλό για άρδευση καθώς περιέχει μόνο 0,3 έως 2,5 gr /l Χλωριούχοi. English: Big submarine karst spring next to Kiveri, Argolic Gulf. The precipitation water comes from the karstified limestone mountains of the Northeastern Peloponnese. Gated weirs keep the fresh water table higher to prevent saline sea water from mixing with the fresh water. The water is good for irrigation as it contains only 0.3 to 2.5 gr/l Chloride. Deutsch: Große submarine Karstquelle südlich vom Ort „Kiveri“ am Argolischen Golf. Das Süßwasser stammt aus dem hochgradig verkarsteten Kalkgebirge des nordöstlichen Peloponnes. Steuerbare Wehre halten schwankende Schüttungen des Süßwassers oberhalb des Salzwasser-Meeresspiegels, damit Vermischung möglichst vermeidbar ist. Das Süßwasser eignet sich gut zur Bewässerung, da diese Quelle nur unterdurchschnittliche 0.3g/l bis 2,5g/l Chloride enthält. |
