Le siège de Brimstone Hill (19 janvier au 12 février 1782) par les troupes françaises du marquis de Bouillé appuyées par François Joseph Paul de Grasse, qui remporte la Bataille navale de Saint-Christophe (25 et 26 janvier 1782) aboutissent à la prise effective de l'île Saint-Christophe (anglais: Saint Kitts).
