Description
Nederlands: De Gewapende Beveiliging Burgerluchtvaart (GBB) van de Koninklijke Marechaussee is speciaal getraind en uitgerust om op te treden in het hogere geweldsspectrum. Zowel op landside, airside, het platform, bij de incheckbalies en de gates surveilleren ze elke minuut van de dag, op zoek naar verdachte situaties of afwijkend gedrag. Na de terroristische aanslagen in Parijs (november 2015) en de toegenomen dreiging in Europa, is de focus van de GBB scherper komen te liggen op Zelfhulp en Kameradenhulp (ZHKH), met name bij incidenten met veel slachtoffers. Oftewel de militaire variant van EHBO.
