At the end of the day, the young workers on the Pioneer Railway hauled down the flag ceremonially outside the station. The young communists did all the jobs on the railway except drive the locomotives,apparently. After the political changes, which were just starting to take place in 1988, of 1989, the stars disappeared from the station and locomotives and the red scarves became blue and the pioneers' greeting changed. Otherwise it continues to run as before, perhaps also without this ceremony.

This railway was constructed in the late 1940s. The sign below the star says Úttörővasút ,Hungarian for Pioneer railway. Today it is known simply as the children's railway - Gyermekvasút .
