English: Floating Rope Bridge (Tape) Available in Mbeya Region in Kyela District. it is found in the Kiwira River with its source in Rungwe district and then pours its water into Lake Nyasa. This bridge is an important transportation link that connects the wards of the mainland towards Malawi.The river is also known for the dangerous crocodiles so its very scary if crossing for the first time. Since there is no proper record ,due to the oldness of the bridge it also believed was build during the Germany colonial rule in East Africa ,one of the local villagers said.
