English: Gemcitabine-squalene is a prospective anti-cancer drug, which interacts with serum albumin in the blood by means of unspecific hydrophobic and Van der Waals interactions. The picture shows possible binding sites of gemcitabine-squalene on the surface of human serum albumin found by molecular docking simulations [1]. All energetically favorable positions of the ligand on the surface of the protein, which were revealed by docking, are superimposed in the picture to visualize the broad range of binding location. Different molecular representations of the ligands and protein are used in different panel:
Українська: Гемцитабін-сквален - це перспективний протираковий препарат, який взаємодіє з сироватковим альбуміном крові за рахунок гідрофобних та Ван дер Ваальсових взаємодій. Рисунок показує можливі сайти зв'язування гемцитабін-сквалену на поверхні сироваткового альбуміну людини виявлені методом молекулярного докінгу [1]. Показано всі енергетично вигідні положення ліганду на поверхні білку, які було отримано в результаті докінгу, щоб продемонструвати широкий спектр можливих місць зв'язування. На різних панелях малюнку показано різні молекулярні представлення молекул ліганду та самого білку:
