English: Bótar Boluisce (Road to Boliska) This is a very helpful stone sign, as it is at the start of a 7 kilometre long cul-de-sac to the furthest place, which is actually Both Loiscthe Íochtair (Boliske Eighter). These places are all within the Gaeltacht area, most extensive in Connemara west of Galway city, where the first language is Gaelic. I discovered signs further along the road that were only in Gaelic. |
